2014: Tomorrow’s Stars - The Uptown Art Fair

In 2014, I was honored to have been one of 50 young artists between the ages of 8 and 18 to be featured at the Minneapolis Uptown Art Fair, as part of their “Tomorrow’s Stars” showcase. It was a very trilling experience, not only to have my art featured, but to also have a chance to present and talk about my art in a very formal setting, with a booth and all! At the event I not only had the opportunity to showcase a series of illustrations I made (ranging from vehicles and transportation, all the way to city skylines and popular Minnesota landmarks), but the artists were also free to sell their artwork and keep all of the profits. Overall, a very beneficial event for aspiring artists and one I would highly recommend to any young artist out there living in the Twin Cities area. And while I didn’t really make that big of a profit off my prints (I wasn’t really selling them at a high price to begin with), I was still very happy to have had the opportunity to showcase my skills to a larger audience.
